What we’re about

We believe education must recognise each child’s unique strengths and interests, and equip them with the confidence, independence and skills to take an active role in their own learning and develop the capability to thrive in a changing world. Montessori education allows us to put this into practice. We offer a curriculum that…

Is Individualised

Te ako takitahi

Every child brings unique strengths, interests and potential. Guided by skilled Montessori guides, learning is personalised to support each child's development, giving them the agency to follow their own learning journey and grow into the best version of themselves.

Fosters Independence

Poipoi ana i te Motuhake

Montessori nurtures independence by balancing freedom with responsibility. Within a carefully prepared environment, children learn to make thoughtful choices, care for themselves and others, and build confidence in their own abilities.

Inspires Self Belief and Confidence

Whakaawe Whakapono Whaiaro me te maia

Through meaningful experiences, strengths-based reflection and a safe environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn, children develop confidence, self-belief and the motivation to achieve their personal best.

Is Connected

Kei te hononga

Learning is connected to real-life experiences and meaningful purpose. Montessori is an education for life, where learning is relevant, practical and connected to the wider world.

Is Community Focused

Hapori arotahi

Community is at the heart of everything we do. Our mixed-age learning environment fosters natural mentorship, empathy and a sense of belonging, helping children develop the confidence, skills and values to make a positive contribution to society.

Encourages Sustainability

Te akiaki i te oranga tonutanga

Tamariki are encouraged to consider the wellbeing of people and the planet in the choices they make. Sustainability also means caring for each other, with regular connection and support for the wellbeing of our children, whanau and staff.

What is Montessori education

Early learning to primary school

We welcome students into our learning environment where they can discover their strengths, and build on the potential they hold to become great at their passions.

Forest programme

Regular time in nature supports children's wellbeing, confidence and cognitive development. The Forest Programme is located within native bush on the property and is open to all families with children aged between 4-12 years old.

Community involvement

Children thrive when they feel they belong and their families are valued. We believe a connected community is at the heart of great education.

Through parent evenings, shared talents, social gatherings, and an open-door culture, we build genuine partnerships that connect home and school.
